All you had to do was listen...

I'm not the proud libertarian member of the U.S. Republican party I once was. Seeing your world end over and over again ends that sort of dream.

  1. Are you talking about the people who pleaded for the events that lead up to the end? Those are the people that weren’t expecting the end at all. You can make people believe anything when they’re afraid. The truth will make you scream when you realize you could have changed it, but now it’s too late.
As for the tormented souls who pleaded for death…
They didn’t “want” to die, so to speak, they just wanted the pain and suffering to go away.
Having your only escape be death is a perfectly legitimate thing to scream about.

  2. For some, it will be very drawn out and excruciatingly painful. For others, it will be instantaneous. Regardless of how it happens to you, it will be like a dreamless sleep, in that you fall unconscious for several hours, though it may seem like no time has passed at all when you wake up. It’s like that, but you don’t wake up. You’ll be completely unaware that you have died. You’ll also lose all your memories and bodily functions since your brain is now a slimy, gelatinous paperweight. (Until it burns or rots, that is.)
…Unless you’re me, but I’d rather not talk about that.

  3. The sound of nobody screaming is nice.

Actually, that’s not entirely true. I did enjoy hearing the screams of the people who were responsible for this.

  4. You grabbed my hand, and we fell into it.
Like a daydream. Or a fever.

    Ron Paul on TV again

    stifle laughter and whisper

    “it’s too late…..”

    MY PARENTS WON’T UNDERSTAND…

    I know the feeling.

  7. It seems that someone (or something) already did.
Religion was a partial factor in what got us into this mess, anyway.

  10. I tried to. A lot of us did. I knew from early on that help would be futile, but I tried.
The warning signs were all there, but no one cared.
It’s too late now.
I’m sorry.
